About the Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to support a Program Manager leading the in-country execution of Production Localization projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including project management, risk management, and administrative support. This internship will provide valuable experience and exposure to the defense industry, with a focus on project management and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Process expense reports for CONUS & OCONUS personnel supporting Production Localization projects

Support significant travel arrangements for key programmatic reviews

Assist in project management activities, including:

Supporting systems migration
-
Develop key messaging for U.S. based customer and leadership meetings

Manage risk and opportunities, including:
-
Maintaining a risk register and assigning monetary values to each risk
-
Automating a risk burn-down tool to track risk retirement and provide metrics
-
Visit Lockheed Martin suppliers in Saudi Arabia to gain insight into production localization efforts and build relationships with key stakeholders

Participate in KSA Stakeholder meetings to understand the local business environment and contribute to the development of strategic partnerships.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor's or Master's) in Accounting, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field

Interest in the defense industry and willingness to learn

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in project management, accounting, or business operations

Familiarity with risk management principles and practices

Experience with SharePoint and Teams
-
Knowledge of defense industry practices and protocols.
