Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to support a Program Manager leading the in-country execution of Production Localization projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including project management, risk management, and administrative support. This internship will provide valuable experience and exposure to the defense industry, with a focus on project management and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process expense reports for CONUS & OCONUS personnel supporting Production Localization projects
• Support significant travel arrangements for key programmatic reviews
• Assist in project management activities, including:
  • Supporting systems migration
  • Develop key messaging for U.S. based customer and leadership meetings
• Manage risk and opportunities, including:
  • Maintaining a risk register and assigning monetary values to each risk
  • Automating a risk burn-down tool to track risk retirement and provide metrics
• Visit Lockheed Martin suppliers in Saudi Arabia to gain insight into production localization efforts and build relationships with key stakeholders
• Participate in KSA Stakeholder meetings to understand the local business environment and contribute to the development of strategic partnerships.

• Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor's or Master's) in Accounting, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field
• Interest in the defense industry and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in project management, accounting, or business operations
• Familiarity with risk management principles and practices
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams
• Knowledge of defense industry practices and protocols.
