Position Overview
The Spa & Salon Manager will oversee the daily operations, service standards, and team performance within Blaura’s spa and salon departments. This role ensures that every client experience embodies professionalism, care, and calm in line with Blaura’s holistic wellness philosophy.
The ideal candidate is a confident leader with both operational and creative insight, capable of building a high-performing team while maintaining excellence across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all spa and salon operations, ensuring consistent service quality and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and manage therapists, beauticians, and support staff.
- Develop and implement service protocols, SOPs, and training frameworks for all current and future team members.
- Lead pre-opening training sessions to standardize techniques, communication, and guest interaction.
- Oversee daily schedules, treatment bookings, and staffing to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage product inventory, usage tracking, and procurement coordination.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and operational compliance standards.
- Handle client feedback with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote spa and salon offerings through campaigns and seasonal programs.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports on productivity and revenue.
- Foster an internal culture of teamwork, respect, and service excellence.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Spa or Salon Management, Hospitality, or Wellness Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing spa or salon operations within the wellness, hospitality, or beauty sectors. Luxury hotels and resort is preferred.
- Strong background in team leadership, service training, and protocol implementation.
- Proficient in POS and booking systems (Odoo experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of treatments, beauty services, and wellness experiences.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
