Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Therapist, located in Amarillo, TX. The Therapist will offer direct therapeutic services, conduct assessments, and provide counseling sessions for children, youth, and families. Additional responsibilities include creating and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with other team members, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with organizational and professional standards. The Therapist will play a key role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of those in care.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in counseling, interpersonal communication, and building therapeutic relationships
  • Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and creating individualized treatment plans
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and behavioral health interventions
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation consistent with professional standards
  • Commitment to cultural competence and working effectively with diverse populations
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Familiarity with community-based services or experience in a non-profit environment is a plus
