About The BGH Clinic

The BGH Clinic offers mental health services that are community based with individualized support to women and girls of color that need additional wrap around and psychosocial support to address areas of functioning that may be impaired or that require rehabilitation. OMHC services support the psychotherapeutic aspect of an individual’s mental health treatment by addressing what happens internally, mentally, and emotionally. We provide medication management along with group therapy and individual therapy.

BGH Clinic is seeking a passionate and driven Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and families. Position Details
  • Status: 1099 Independent Contractor (Fee-for-Service)
  • Schedule: Flexible, Hybrid (minimum one day onsite required)
  • Population: Children, adolescents, and families
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions for mental health and substance use needs
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates
  • Develop and implement safety and behavioral plans as needed
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, and other providers
  • Identify and refer clients for additional services (e.g., psychiatric evaluation, higher level of care)
  • Participate in weekly supervision and monthly team meetings
  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with regulatory and audit standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Pre-licensed clinicians must have appropriate supervision arrangements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing trauma, behavioral health, and/or substance use disorders
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work independently
  • Experience working with diverse and multicultural populations
