Therapists - Physical, Occupational, Speech

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists to join our team in the Orange, and Seminole County. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance the physical well-being of patients across various demographics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop tailored care plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including physiotherapy techniques and trigger point therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
• Engage in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions from inpatient to outpatient or home health settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge relevant to treatment practices.

Skills

• Proficient in discharge planning and creating effective care plans.
• Experience in acute care settings, including hospital experience and clinic experience.
• Knowledge of geriatric therapy practices.
• Strong understanding of home & community care experience principles.
• Familiarity with outpatient therapy protocols and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
