Thermal Simulation and Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities
An engineer with 4-8 years of experience having Proficiency in Python Programing Language with project experience with libraries like NumPy and OpenCV. Project experience should reflect knowledge of OPPs concepts is needed. One should have good working experience on lab equipment like Power Supply units, Data Acquisition Systems etc., The engineer should also be having Basic Linux knowledge. The engineer will be working from a customer location in Bangalore.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Postprocessing of data and developing scripts for automation.
• Perform modification to automation code for performance testing; write/ modify python code as needed.
• Diagnose / debug any simple hardware or software related issues in consumer electronic products.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and work independently.
• Prepare detailed test-plans to assess thermal health of the consumer electronic products by considering regular and end-consumer scenarios.
• Ability to work on lab equipment like Power Supply units, Data Acquisition Systems etc.
• Understand the product, schematic and layout
• Thermal simulation, validation and optimization.
• Setup the devices for test use cases following the device related commands.
• Interact with cross-functional teams like thermal, electrical, software teams in different Geo locations (US, China, India)
• Maintain inward and outbound documents for all lab equipment and devices that are required.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Python
• OOPs concepts including Design Patterns
• Basics of Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Working experience on lab equipment and or consumer electric
• Basic Linux knowledge

• Proficient use of enabling technology, computer, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve complex design-related issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
