Position Summary

As Thrive’s Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role at the organization, leading marketing strategy and elevating awareness, engagement, and support for Thrive’s mission and all four of its programs. You’ll be a champion for our brand, ensuring consistency, creativity, and integrity across all touchpoints. This is an opportunity for an energetic, collaborative, and mission-driven marketing professional to shape Thrive’s voice in the community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and lead Thrive’s comprehensive marketing strategy to engage and grow our diverse audiences, including families, donors, schools, community partners, and volunteers
  • Evaluate and identify new marketing and outreach opportunities, with an eye for innovation
  • Develop an efficient system that will enable staff to assist in marketing efforts (create graphics, QR codes, registration links, etc)
  • Develop a sustainable stewardship system both automated and for use by Development team
  • Brand Management
  • Oversee consistent branding and messaging across all materials and channels, digital, print, social media, events, and annual reports,working collaboratively with in-house design staff
  • Spearhead content development that highlights Thrive’s innovation and impact, including newsletters, feature articles for area publications, email campaigns, and program spotlights
  • Create and maintain a library of brand-consistent slide decks and print materials (fact sheets, white papers, sponsorship opportunities) for use with donors and business partners, and for use in public presentations
  • Digital Marketing & Engagement
  • Lead planning and execution of engaging social media and email marketing campaigns to build awareness, grow participation, and celebrate Thrive’s impact
  • Manage online marketing efforts, including website content updates, SEO, and digital advertising
  • Track participation data and analyze results to adjust strategies and maximize reach and impact
  • Relationship-Building & Outreach
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to extend Thrive’s reach and visibility
  • Identify and address gaps in marketing presence, forging new connections throughout the Gallatin Valley and beyond
  • Workflow & Asset Management
  • Manage marketing workflows to ensure effective delivery of all campaigns and materials
  • Update and organize marketing assets to reflect Thrive’s evolving programs and brand
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to administrative assistant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of nonprofit fundraising and/or marketing experience, including proven success in digital channels
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in marketing and CRM software
  • Strong project and time-management skills, with a collaborative spirit and attention to detail
  • Commitment to professional growth and best practices in fundraising and digital marketing
  • Alignment with Thrive’s mission, values, and commitment to inclusion, family empowerment, and community partnership
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Give Butter a plus
