TIG Welder

Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

Perform various welding operations such as Arc, TIG, Rod, and MIG/MAG welding, particularly within the food processing environment.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance welding on plant machinery, pipelines, tanks, and structural components.
Ensure all welding tasks meet food industry hygiene and quality standards.
Assist in the installation and fabrication of mechanical parts and equipment.
Collaborate with the maintenance team for routine and emergency maintenance needs.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the welding work area.
Ensure compliance with KDD's safety protocols and State of Kuwait HSE regulations.
Work with production and other departments as needed for smooth operations.
Support documentation of work done and update maintenance records accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

ITI or official vocational certification in welding (preferred specialization in food processing industry).
Certified training in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, Rod Welding, and MIG/MAG Welding.
Minimum 4 years of relevant hands-on experience as a maintenance welder, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Required Professional Skills:

Strong practical knowledge of industrial welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Familiarity with hygienic welding standards for food-grade applications.
Basic understanding of machine operations and mechanical systems.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to work quality and safety.
Ability to work under pressure and during emergency maintenance scenarios.
