Overview
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG welding and fabrication processes, with a strong understanding of sheet metal work and mechanical principles. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, primarily metals, ensuring high standards of quality and precision
- Fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment according to technical drawings and specifications
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to create custom parts and assemblies
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication and welding processes
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring proper fit and finish
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately to guide fabrication tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Must be able to weld 2mm stainless but other general fabrication beneficial.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, fabrication techniques, and assembly processes
- Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Potential to be working away from home.
- CSCS accreditation desirable but time will be given to gain accreditation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
