TILE FIXER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Fixer to join our construction/maintenance team. The Tile Fixer will be responsible for cutting, laying, and finishing tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to design plans and client specifications. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of tiling techniques and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for tiling (cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, etc.)
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work
• Cut tiles using hand or power tools to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces
• Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, grouts, and sealants
• Install tiles in planned patterns and layouts
• Align tiles and straighten them using levels and squares
• Grout, clean, and polish tiled surfaces
• Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles
• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and other construction team members
