Tile Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and backsplashes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Duties

• Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation by assessing schematics, blueprints, and project plans.
• Cut, shape, and lay tiles using hand tools and power tools such as tile cutters, wet saws, and grinders.
• Apply mortar or adhesive with proper techniques to ensure secure placement of tiles on floors, walls, or fixtures.
• Perform caulking, grout application, and sealing to ensure durable finishes and water resistance.
• Read schematics and blueprints accurately to follow design specifications for various tile projects.
• Install additional fixtures such as trim carpentry, cabinetry, or bathroom fixtures as needed during remodeling or restoration projects.
• Conduct floor care and maintenance post-installation to ensure longevity and quality of the finished surface.
• Assist with water damage restoration tasks by removing damaged tiles and preparing surfaces for new installations.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tile laying, flooring installation, or related construction work with a focus on precision craftsmanship.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other equipment used in tile installation and carpentry.
• Experience in construction site environments with an understanding of safety protocols and site logistics.
• Skills in remodeling, restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, concrete finishing, cabinet installation, and handyman tasks is a plus.
• Knowledge of fixture installation including sinks, countertops, or bathroom fixtures is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges. Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
