Key responsibilities

• Prepare work areas by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces before tiling.​
• Measure and mark surfaces, plan tile layout and patterns as per drawings or site instructions.​
• Cut tiles to fit corners, edges, and around obstacles (pipes, outlets, drains) using hand and power tools.​
• Mix and apply tile adhesives, mortar, and grout, ensuring proper bonding and alignment.​
• Install tiles on floors, walls, stairs, and other surfaces in straight and patterned layouts (e.g. diagonal, herringbone).​
• Grout, clean, and finish tiled surfaces, including sealing where required to ensure durability and water resistance.​
• Repair and replace cracked, broken, or loose tiles when needed.​
• Use and maintain tools and equipment safely and keep work areas clean and orderly.​
• Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company quality standards at all times.​

Candidate requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience as Tile Mason / Tiler, preferably in UAE or GCC.​
• Strong practical skills in measuring, cutting, leveling, and finishing tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, etc.).​
• Ability to read basic drawings/layouts and follow site instructions accurately.​
• Physically fit and able to lift materials, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.​
• Basic understanding of waterproofing, surface preparation, and use of different adhesives and grouts is preferred.​
• Any relevant technical/trade certificate in masonry/tiling is an advantage.
