The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tipper Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting rubbish from various properties across London using a tipper truck, as well as performing basic garden maintenance tasks as needed. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Drive a tipper truck to designated locations across London to collect rubbish, including household waste, garden waste, and construction debris.

Safely load and unload rubbish onto the tipper truck using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to waste management regulations.

Efficiently plan routes to maximize collection productivity and minimize travel time between locations.

Perform basic gardening tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding flower beds, and removing debris to maintain the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces.

Conduct routine maintenance checks on the tipper truck and gardening equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues to management promptly.

Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating the tipper truck and performing gardening tasks, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Interact professionally with tenants and members of the public while collecting rubbish and performing gardening work, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner.

Maintain accurate records of rubbish collections, gardening activities, and any incidents or issues encountered during work shifts.
Skills & Knowledge

Previous experience as a tipper driver or in a similar role preferred.

Knowledge of London's streets and neighbourhoods.

Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations

Experience with managing vulnerable individuals and managing HMO properties

Full UK Driving License

Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment

Working on own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team

Work flexibly to meet the varying demands of the role in order to achieve agreed outcomes
