Title Recording Officer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Title Recording Officer to join our New York team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of legal documents, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of New York recording procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing superior service to internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities: Review and prepare legal documents for recording with county clerk offices across New York State. Ensure all documents meet statutory and regulatory requirements before submission. Submit and track documents to ensure timely recording and follow-up with county offices as needed. Maintain accurate records of all recorded documents and provide reports as requested. Serve as a resource for title team members regarding recording procedures and requirements. Handle inquiries from clients, attorneys, and county offices in a professional and timely manner. Stay up-to-date with changes in New York title and recording laws and regulations. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of New York State recording procedures and legal document requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and title-related software systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.63 - $35.00 per hour
