TMA Driver - (Overnight Travel)

The Truck Mounted Attenuator Driver (TMA Driver) will complete assigned traffic control task by driving a TMA to specified locations for lane closures on state highways and other roadways. TMA Driver must be constantly aware of both the construction and traffic activity taking place around them. As a TMA Driver you will be required to travel for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety PPE.
• Drive Management of Traffic (MOT) vehicle to and from project and on work site.
• Place arrow board or variable message board in work area.
• Check work zone throughout shift to be sure items are still in their proper location.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Proper work attire (pants, shirt with short sleeve at a minimum) and work boots.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Over Night Travel is required
• A valid Driver’s License is required to operate company trucks.
• Ability to complete paperwork and knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations & traffic control is also required.
• TEEX certified is a plus.
• Possess good knowledge of state and local roadway roadways and have experience with operating large vehicles of varying sizes.
• DOT Physical Required - paid for by Company.
