Job Description (JD) TMS / ETC System Engineer – Toll Operations

Location: Belgaum Dharwad Tollways Limited

Reporting To: Equipment Head

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit daily TMS / ETC system status reports.

- Ensure continuous and proper functioning of all TMS equipment including AVC, ANPR, RFID, andrelated subsystems.

- Perform FASTag transaction reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in coordination withstakeholders.

- Coordinate with System Integrator (SI) for resolution of software and hardware issues.- Support software modifications, enhancements, and upgrades in coordination with SI and supporting stakeholders.

- Compile and maintain system and transaction data for internal and external audits.

- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security guidelines, and NHAI standards.

- Generate and analyse system performance reports (AVC, ANPR, RFID, ETC lanes, uptime,accuracy, etc.).

- Prepare and submit monthly sign-off data to concerned authorities.

- Create and circulate liability sheets for ETC rejected transactions and share with Operations, SI,and Bank.

- Monitor and track hardware downtime, escalate issues to SI, and ensure SLA complianceincluding calculation and imposition of penalties where applicable.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of Toll Management Systems (TMS) and ETC / FASTag operations.

- Hands-on experience with AVC, ANPR, RFID, and toll plaza IT infrastructure.

- Knowledge of SLA management, reconciliation, and audit processes.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with SI, Banks, and Operations teams.

- Proficient in MIS reporting, data analysis, and documentation.

- Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards.

Experience & Qualification (Preferred):

- 3 to 5 years of experience in TMS / ITS / ETC systems.

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Electronics or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
