Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing individuals to join our early childhood education team as Toddler I (1 1/2 - 2 years) and Toddler II (2 - 2 1/2 years) caregivers. In this vital role, you will create a warm, safe, and engaging environment that promotes the developmental growth of young children. Your energy and dedication will help foster a love of learning during these foundational years, supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through intentional activities and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, nurturing care tailored to toddlers’ individual needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including sensory play, language development, and motor skills enhancement
  • Support children’s social-emotional growth by encouraging positive interactions and behavior management strategies
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that fosters exploration and learning
  • Collaborate with team members to plan daily schedules that balance structured activities with free play
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods while maintaining a safe environment
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments that support diverse needs and backgrounds
