Toddler Leads and Assistants

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated a passionate toddler Teacher and toddler Teacher Assistants to join our educational team at our newest TSL Adventures daycare branch in East Greenbush. Get started on your path leading or supporting young children with a company now in its 17th year! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves working with young learners, developing engaging curricula, and supporting their growth through innovative teaching methods. For Teacher assistants, you'll be supporting the lead teacher in the role.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Educate students in various subjects while promoting literacy education and critical thinking skills.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and staff to support each child's development.
• Utilize Montessori principles and techniques where applicable to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction.
• Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for young learners.
• Ability to plan effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Familiarity with toddler care practices and daycare operations.
• Understanding of special education requirements and strategies for inclusion.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for fostering a love of learning in children through creative teaching methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
