Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Room Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth aligned with early childhood development standards.
- Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere that encourages exploration and respectful behavior among children.
- Incorporate specialized knowledge in special education and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom activities effectively through lesson planning, behavior management, and fostering inclusive play experiences that promote curiosity and independence.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress and participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, Montessori methods, or preschool experience.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, classroom management, and lesson planning.
- Experience working with toddlers specifically, including toddler care routines and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, or Montessori methods is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their child's educational journey.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessments is a plus.
