Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Previous preschool or daycare experience is essential; familiarity with childhood development principles is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A nurturing attitude towards caregiving and teaching young children.
