Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Duties

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records for parent communication and program planning
  • Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote cooperation and social skills among children
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's development and address any concerns
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers
  • Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
  • Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management techniques
  • Compassionate caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing individual needs of children with disabilities or special needs
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for toddlers
  • Experience with preschool activities, infant care, babysitting, nannying or working with children in various caregiving roles is highly valued
