Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers
• Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
• Monitor and support children's behavior using positive guidance strategies and effective behavior management techniques
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations
• Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs in compliance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to develop individualized learning plans for children with special needs or disabilities

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
• Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a lively and motivating manner
• Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood education

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
