Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, fostering their curiosity and growth. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers.
  • Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
  • Monitor and support children’s behavior through positive guidance and effective behavior management techniques.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including supervising children during play, nap times, meals, and transitions.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, needs, and milestones.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, developmental observations, and health or safety incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that align with childhood development standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool or classroom setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and nurturing caregiving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
