Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Educate children on basic academic concepts while incorporating play-based learning techniques.
• Provide individualized attention to students, including those with special education needs or disabilities.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Experience

• Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including infant care and toddler care.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures is beneficial.
• Experience working with students who have disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
