Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education and child development will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Duties

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, structured environment that encourages curiosity and respect among children.
• Engage with children through play-based activities, promoting social skills, communication skills, and emotional development.
• Help monitor and document each child's progress, noting behavioral changes and developmental milestones.
• Support children with special needs or those with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
