Cedar ChildCare's mission is to provide high-quality education in an enriching, safe and inclusive environment that builds a foundation of lifelong learning and to think creatively so children may succeed in a complex and ever-changing world.

Cedar is a play-based, child-centered early childhood center located in North Cambridge. Founded in 2020 by a local advocate for children and families, Cedar serves children from infancy to preschool in a warm, sunlit environment with access to nearby parks, green spaces, and the public library.

We prioritize strong relationships among children and adults. Our educators foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere, supporting each child's growth and learning. We encourage our teaching staff to engage in meaningful dialogue about early learning and provide opportunities to design and create enriching environments for exploration and engagement.

The center is a full day all year program and is open daily from 8 am to 5:30 pm. Different schedules are available – either morning or afternoon shifts. Professional development and planning time will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
