As a floater, you’ll also support various classrooms, bringing flexibility and extra hands to our busy center. Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Support classroom management by guiding children’s behavior with positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily lesson plans aligned with childhood development standards.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs for infants and toddlers.
- Provide flexible coverage across different classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity of care for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and daily experiences.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong caregiving skills with an emphasis on safety, patience, and nurturing support for children’s individual needs.
