- Utilize classroom management strategies to maintain an organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's welfare and educational journey.
- Incorporate teaching physical education and tutoring sessions to enhance motor skills and academic achievement.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with childcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, curriculum development, and innovative teaching practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education techniques to support diverse learners.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tools including Montessori methods and literacy education best practices.
- Classroom experience managing young children’s behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and community partners about student progress and welfare.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning components.
- Experience working with standardized testing procedures to assess student growth accurately.
- Background in childcare or daycare services is highly desirable; private school experience is a plus.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
