Prerequisites

• 21 years of age or older - 4 year min. driving experience
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
• Good Driving Record
• Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Randomly tested thereafter
• 10 Year Background Check
• Pre-Requisite Certificates: CPR/First Aid Certification - Passenger Sensitivity - Defensive Driving

*Abby Vans pays for cost of training but training time is not paid

Physical Requirements

• Safely operate motor vehicle in all weather conditions
• Provide supervision/assist clients to enter and exit vehicle
• Use proper body mechanics to load/unload clients
• Secure vehicle passenger and wheelchair restraints
• Operate motor vehicle wheelchair lift/ramp on accessible vehicles
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to push/pull up to 350 pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate/receive instructions from the Office and /or the clients.
• Be friendly, courteous and patient
• Work towards resolution of conflicts, without being argumentative.
• Operation of use of electronic devices
• Maintain interior/exterior vehicle cleanliness as well as be clean and well groomed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
