Our Opportunity

The purpose of this position is to provide daily support to Manufacturing and Tooling groups by issuing tools and gages, keeping The Tool Crib Attendant maintains records of tools issued and returned. Tracks tooling usage and maintains inventory to include re-order levels. This position works closely with the Tooling Department and schedules the fabrication of all custom-made or modified tools.

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred with 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Inventory background preferred. Experience with Tool Boss or tool inventory system a plus.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
