Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tool Maker to handle repair, maintenance, and improvement of press tools, jigs, fixtures, and fittings. The role involves supporting production with minimal downtime, ensuring tooling quality, and contributing to continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and service press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Carry out regrinding, breakdown support, and preventive maintenance.
• Support new tooling projects, buyoffs, and trials.
• Manufacture new tooling/spares and update tool history records.
• Perform root cause analysis, problem solving, and engineering modifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
• Lead/train technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills with focus on quality and cost.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing & 5S practices.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Languages Preferred

• English, Kannada (others an advantage)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
