Tool Room Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tool Room Attendant to join our operations team. This role is essential in managing tools, equipment, and materials within our fabrication shop. The Tool Room Attendant maintains organization, cleanliness, and inventory of the Fabrication Shop Tool Room. Supports production efficiency by ensuring that tools, safety equipment, and materials are readily available and properly logged and in good working condition.

Duties

• Keep the Fabrication Shop Tool Room clean, organized, and visually maintained
• Maintain accurate inventory and track issuance and return of safety gear, welding electrodes, and tooling
• Log weldrod usage in the “BFM Checkout Database” and audit data for accuracy
• Restrict access to the tool room to authorized personnel only
• Promptly notify Supervisor of tool, equipment, or supply issues
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with coworkers, including sharing workspace
• Operate safely and in accordance with Company safety procedures and equipment requirements
• Perform other duties, as assigned including but not limited to assisting on the fabrication shop floor with grinding or cleaning the shop

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED
• Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Basic Computer Knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
