Tool & Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary
The Tool Crib & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing the tool crib, supply room, and outbound shipping activities to support daily manufacturing operations. This role ensures tools, equipment, and finished products are properly tracked, issued, and shipped accurately while coordinating closely with the Logistics team..

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize the tool crib and supply room, including tools, equipment, and consumablesKeep work areas clean, organized, and audit-ready
  • Issue, track, and maintain tools and supplies for production and maintenance teams
  • Operate forklifts to move materials, tools, and finished products
  • Prepare, verify, and ship finished products according to shipping documentation
  • Ensure correct product, quantity, and condition are loaded for outbound shipments
  • Coordinate with Logistics to confirm shipping details and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using basic computer systems
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in a tool crib, shipping, receiving, or warehouse role preferred
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and record tracking
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE
