The Tooling Manager is responsible for the oversight, control, and operational readiness of all tools and small equipment used on assigned project sites. This role ensures field crews have the necessary tools available to perform work safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all site tools and equipment to ensure readiness and availability

• Coordinate tool distribution, staging, and storage for daily operations

• Track inventory, location, and condition of all tools

• Inspect, audit, and remove damaged or unsafe equipment

• Partner with field leadership to anticipate and meet tooling needs

• Streamline processes to improve accountability, reduce loss, and control costs

What You Bring

• 5+ years in construction operations, tool management, or equipment coordination (solar, electrical, or similar preferred)

• Strong knowledge of construction tools/equipment and experience supporting field crews

• Skilled in inventory control, tool tracking systems, and organizational management

• Effective communicator with the ability to solve problems in fast-paced job site environments

• Committed to safety, efficiency, and accountability (OSHA 10/30 preferred)

• Physically able to navigate job sites and perform basic lifting and movement tasks
