Summary/Objective
The Tote Cleaner is responsible for safely and thoroughly cleaning, inspecting, and preparing totes, press parts, filtration systems, pumps and valves to support production operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, takes pride in doing the job right, remains humble and open to feedback, and works as an excellent team player while consistently following safety and quality procedures.
Essential Functions

- Clean silicone totes, tote caps, and press parts in accordance with established procedures
- Operate the tote cleaning machine safely and ensure it is functioning and draining properly
- Perform visual inspections of totes and press parts during cleaning and preparation
- Inspect tote wheels for proper rotation and functionality
- Inspect press parts to ensure gaskets are functioning properly
- Ensure spouts are securely threaded and properly installed
- Change out hose sleeves as required
- Break down and assemble press parts for cleaning and preparation
- Offload drums from delivery trucks as needed
- Drive a tow motor safely to move materials and totes
- Restock supplies, including gloves, paper towels, and steel wool
- Use NetSuite and complete required documentation accurately
- Follow “Stop – Call – Wait” protocol at all times
- Perform tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
Competencies
- Possess good computer skills
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to read & write in English
- Comprehension of written instructions
- An ability to safely lift, up to 75 lbs. regularly
- An ability to safely operate equipment and necessary tools
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times due to running of machines

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday,
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
2nd Shift 6p-6a 6p-6a 6p-6a 6p-10p

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED (Required)
- Prior manufacturing experience (Required)
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Concepts (Desired)
