Tour Guide & Event Host

Trinity River Distillery Tour Guides/ Event Staff:

· Understand process and have basic knowledge of whiskey, vodka, preferably other spirits, and able to retell too small to large groups of people.

· Quick thinker, and willing to learn new information, and search for answers to questions asked.

· The tours are an hour long, and run 3x on Saturday, and 3x on Sunday.

· All tours are to be given in a professional manner for small to large groups (up to 55 people).

· Script is available to learn but are encouraged to put individual spin on it. (Training and shadowing available).

· Tour guides are also responsible for selling merchandise in gift shop proceeding tours, restocking merchandise, and helping break down and set up all tours. This includes washing and drying all glassware for each tasting.

· Tour Guides/Event Staff also help in open and close procedures. To include but are not limited to, cleaning, setting up the patio and tasting room, etc.….

· Tour guides are also needed to help with all special events hosted at the Distillery (Event Staff).

· Requirements: 21 years of age or older.

· TABC Certified.

· Basic Whiskey knowledge.

· Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and consistently walk up and down several flights of stairs.

· Basic math and money handling skills.

· Hours: Hours do vary depending on events held at Trinity River Distillery.

· Basic hours are Saturday- 12p-10p / Sunday-11a- 9p. Hours Vary.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
