Tower Crane Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tower Crane Electrician to support high-rise construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of tower crane electrical systems, ensuring safe and efficient crane operations in compliance with manufacturer and UAE safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems of tower cranes during erection and dismantling.
• Connect and test motors, limit switches, control panels, contactors, inverters, sensors, and safety devices.
• Perform electrical wiring of mast sections, jibs, slewing units, hoist mechanisms, and climbing systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in tower crane systems.
• Ensure proper grounding, earthing, and protection systems are installed and functioning correctly.
• Assist in pre-commissioning checks and load testing before crane handover.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on-site.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with erection teams and site engineers during assembly and commissioning.
• Ensure all work complies with UAE safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Requirements:

• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Tower Crane Electrician or Heavy Equipment Electrician.
• Proven experience with tower crane brands such as Potain, Liebherr, Comansa, or Raimondi is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, VFD drives, control circuits, and safety interlocks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals.
• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid UAE electrical or safety certification is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working at heights.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
