Tower Crane Electrician

Job Summary

The Tower Crane Electrician is responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of tower cranes to ensure safe and reliable operation on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and connect electrical systems during crane erection and dismantling.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical faults, control panels, limit switches, and motors.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on crane electrical components.
• Inspect wiring, safety devices, and electrical circuits to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers and erectors during crane climbing and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate logs of electrical inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Ensure adherence to UAE/GCC electrical and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tower Crane Electrician in the UAE or GCC.
• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electricity.
• Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems (PLC, VFD, control circuits).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiarity with major crane brands and their electrical configurations.
• Strong understanding of HSE and lockout/tagout procedures.
