Duties

• Receive and prioritize incoming towing requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms.
• Dispatch tow trucks promptly using GPS, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and transportation management systems.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure accurate pickup and delivery of vehicles, maintaining clear communication through phone etiquette and professional interaction.
• Monitor fleet status using GPS and fleet management software to optimize routing and response times.
• Maintain detailed records of all dispatch activities.
• Provide customers and Motor Clubs with real time updates via phone communication or text messaging services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching within transportation or logistics environments, with familiarity in freight or towing operations preferred.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GPS tracking information, and transportation management system outputs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism through phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of towing and roadside rules and regulations, fleet management practices, and transportation planning concepts.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
