The Track and Civils Subject Expert will be responsible for overseeing all track and civil maintenance activities across the metro network during its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase. This role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of both passengers and the Employer. The expert will play a key role in contractor performance evaluation, asset management, and coordination between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years’ technical and management experience in track and civil infrastructure.
  • Oversee all Track and Civil maintenance activities, ensuring they are carried out safely and meet the expectations of passengers and the Employer.
  • Verify maintenance execution, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
  • Measure the performance of O&M Contractors, and be capable of evaluating and adjusting performance where and when required.
  • Oversee the mobilization of O&M Contractors, including coordination with sub-contractors such as Transit Systems Suppliers.
  • Review O&M Contractor submissions, including:
    • Asset and maintenance plans
    • Procedures
    • Instructions
  • Oversee coordination between O&M Contractors and DB Contractors, ensuring seamless integration and operational alignment.
  • Advise on the asset management strategy, contributing to long-term planning and optimization of track and civil infrastructure.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of track and civil systems within metro or transport infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to manage contractor relationships and evaluate technical performance.
  • Experience in reviewing technical documentation and maintenance planning.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, asset lifecycle management, and service delivery frameworks.
