About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Track Engineer - Alignment to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise alignment and geometry of railway tracks, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our rail network.

Conduct detailed track alignment surveys and assessments using advanced surveying equipment and techniques • Analyse track geometry data and develop alignment solutions to optimise track performance and safety • Create and review technical drawings and specifications for track alignment projects • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement track alignment improvements and maintenance plans • Monitor and evaluate track conditions to identify potential alignment issues and recommend corrective actions • Ensure compliance with railway safety standards and regulations in all alignment activities

Prepare comprehensive reports on track alignment projects, including recommendations and cost estimates • Utilise specialised track alignment software and CAD tools to model and design track geometry • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and maintenance teams on track alignment matters • Stay updated on the latest advancements in track alignment technologies and best practices
What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 15 years of experience in railway track alignment or a similar role • Proficiency in track alignment software, CAD tools, and surveying equipment • Strong knowledge of railway engineering principles, particularly in track geometry and alignment

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications • Familiarity with railway safety standards and regulations • Professional engineering certification (desirable) • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to different project sites as required
