RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Execute scheduled tasks assigned by the Track Maintenance Engineer while adhering to established maintenance procedures.
- Prepare detailed statistical reports for supervisors, outlining completed tasks, results achieved, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure to provide full support to supervisors as needed to perform tasks regarding tools, and different work arrangements.
- Attend the daily briefings during sign-on.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and handling of tools, equipment, and machinery required for track maintenance activities.
- Assist with site surveys and promptly report any unusual incidents or abnormalities to the appropriate authority.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Intermediate education or higher.
Knowledge:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the main elements of the tracks and turnouts, their role, and their behavior.
- Use and maintain the tools, equipment and machinery related to track work.
- Understanding of the necessity to strictly apply the track safety rules when on duties on site for himself and for the team he could have to manage.
Experience:
- From 3 - 5 years of railway experience with Track maintenance is preferred.
