Tractor Mechanic

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Tractor Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven experience as a Tractor Mechanic or similar role, preferably in an agricultural setting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in tractors and farm equipment.
• Strong knowledge of tractor engines, transmissions, brakes, and other major components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, especially during peak seasons.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in diesel mechanics or agricultural equipment maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in tractors and agricultural machinery.

2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.

3. Repair and replace faulty or worn-out parts using appropriate tools and techniques.

4. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventive measures.

5. Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.

6. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.

7. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in tractor maintenance and repair.
