Trade Compliance Specialist

🚨 We're Hiring: Trade Compliance Specialist (Import/Export Classification)

Join a leading company in the Industrial Gas & Manufacturing industry and play a key role in ensuring global trade compliance for import and export operations.

📍 Location: Houston, TX (Part-Time – 20 Hours/Week)

What You'll Do:

✅ Perform HTS, HTSUS, Schedule B & ECCN classifications

✅ Review technical drawings, product descriptions & specifications

✅ Support import/export compliance activities across business units

✅ Ensure compliance with CBP, BIS, OFAC & EAR regulations

✅ Maintain product classification databases and ERP records

✅ Partner with cross-functional teams on trade compliance initiatives

✅ Research customs rulings and provide classification guidance

Required Skills:

✔ 3–5+ years of Trade Compliance experience

✔ Strong knowledge of HTS, Schedule B & ECCN Classification

✔ Experience with BIS, CBP, OFAC & EAR regulations

✔ Import & Export Compliance expertise

✔ Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

✔ Experience with Global Trade Management (GTM) tools

✔ Power BI knowledge is a plus

✔ Licensed Customs Broker (Preferred, not required)
