Trade Finance Operations Manager -Dubai

Job Summary:

The Trade Finance & Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's trade finance activities and treasury operations. This critical role involves managing working capital, mitigating financial risks, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to support the company's international trade activities and overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Guarantees, Documentary Collections, and other trade instruments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions (global market)to secure competitive trade finance facilities and optimize banking services.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure efficient utilization of funds.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and counterparty risk.
• Implement and manage hedging strategies to protect the company from adverse market movements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and international trade finance guidelines.
• Prepare and present comprehensive treasury and trade finance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions for trade finance facilities and banking services to achieve optimal outcomes for the company.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, procurement, and legal, to facilitate smooth and efficient trade transactions.
• Continuously review and improve treasury and trade finance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and control.
• Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Participate in strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree.
• PG qualification in Finance is preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in management cadre with a strong stakeholder relationship management.
• Have working experience in Metals trading operations (Ferrous/Non-Ferrous).
• Should be a Cross border financial acumen.
