Trade Finance Specialist- Dubai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Finance Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

Supports corporate funding and finance operations for a commodity trading company.Ensures all documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements are met for bank and financial institution funding.Works closely with Commercial, Trade Operations, and Accounts teams to align trade transactions with financing terms.Focuses on facility utilisation, lender documentation, trade finance instruments, and cash flow monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage all aspects of trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (L/C), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Guarantees, Documentary Collections, and Supply Chain Finance.

Ensure strict adherence to international trade rules and practices such as UCP 600, URC 522, URR 725, ISBP, and local regulatory requirements.

Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessment for trade finance applications, ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, and Sanctions policies.

Provide expert advice and guidance to corporate clients on suitable trade finance solutions, structuring complex deals to meet their specific needs.

Manage loan/facility drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and interest schedules.

Track facility limits and utilisation dashboards.

Monitor facility covenants and conditions precedent.

Prepare periodic lender reporting.

Required Skills :

5–8 years in corporate finance/treasury/trade finance, preferably in commodities trading

Ability to manage multi-stakeholder coordination with banks, internal teams, and auditors.

Strong Excel, reporting, and financial tracking skills.

Preferred education: MBA / Master’s in Finance or Accounting / CA (Inter).
