We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator to join our logistics team! Responsibilities

  • Direct carriers to designated locations based on operating practices and/or directives of the customer
  • Work with both internal and external customers to develop a schedule for the delivery of products or resources based on operational needs
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear communication through phone etiquette and professional interaction.
  • Timely and professional responses to all customer inquiries and complaints concerning the flow of products or resources
  • Prepare and produce reports concerning inbound and/or outbound trailers as requested by the Traffic Manager
  • Maintain current and accurate logs and/or records that meet the expectations of the customer’s need for inbound and outbound trailers

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Continued education is a plus
  • At least one year of customer service experience is preferred with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to give and receive detailed information
  • Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for dispatching and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of logistics operations including shipping & receiving, freight handling, fleet management, and warehouse procedures like shipping & receiving.
  • Working knowledge of multi-line phone system to include answering and transferring calls
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: 6:00am-6:00pm, working a 4 on/4 off schedule

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
