🔹 Position Overview

Supreme SCS Pvt. Ltd., a leading logistics and supply chain company operating across PAN India, is seeking a skilled and proactive Traffic In-Charge for its Full Truck Load (FTL) division .

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient market vehicle placement, route optimization, and smooth transport operations . This role is critical to achieving on-time deliveries, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction in our transport network.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Placement & Scheduling: Plan and ensure timely placement and allocation of market vehicles for FTL shipments as per route and load requirements.
• Vendor Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and fleet operators (containers-focused) to ensure vehicle availability and service reliability.
• Route Optimization: Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to plan efficient routes, reduce transit time, and minimize cost per trip.
• Tracking & Monitoring: Schedule and track vehicle movements; provide live updates to management and clients on shipment status.
• Fleet & Documentation Management: Maintain a vehicle database, ensure safety compliance, and keep all permits, inspection records, and transport documents updated.
• Cost & Performance Management: Monitor transportation expenses, identify areas of cost saving, and maintain adherence to budget targets.
• Issue Resolution: Handle on-ground challenges such as breakdowns, delays, or vendor issues promptly to avoid delivery disruptions.
• Reporting: Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports on vehicle placement, transport cost analysis, and operational performance.
• Client Communication: Act as a single point of contact for customers regarding dispatch schedules, vehicle tracking, and delivery confirmations.
  
  

🔹 Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Traffic In-Charge or Transport Manager with hands-on exposure to FTL operations.
• Strong understanding of market vehicle management, route planning, and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of transport laws, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/transport management software.
  
  

🔹 Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Additional certification in Transport or Logistics Management will be an added advantage.
