Traffic Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Traffic Manager to lead and manage traffic control operations for a major Ashghal project in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong managerial experience in traffic management, road safety, and temporary traffic control in infrastructure or roadwork projects.

The Traffic Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring compliance with Ashghal standards and traffic safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all traffic control operations on site.
• Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, MOT regulations, and project specifications.
• Develop and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMP).
• Coordinate with Ashghal representatives, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Supervise traffic control teams, subcontractors, and safety personnel.
• Monitor traffic diversions, road closures, and detour implementations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure road user and worker safety.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the client.
• Ensure proper deployment of traffic control devices and signage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in traffic management and road projects.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Ashghal traffic control standards and Qatar road regulations.
• Experience in major infrastructure or highway projects is required.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate with authorities.
• Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
