Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Trailer Driver holding a valid UAE Heavy Truck License No. 4 to join our logistics operations in Dubai. The candidate must have hands-on experience in clearing shipments from Jebel Ali Port and Sharjah Port and transporting perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy trailers to transport fruits and vegetables between ports, cold stores, and distribution centers across the UAE.
• Clear shipments efficiently from Jebel Ali Port and Sharjah Port, ensuring all customs and documentation processes are followed.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle before every trip to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain appropriate temperature control and hygiene within the trailer for safe transport of perishable items.
• Obey all UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations, and drive responsibly at all times.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, trip logs, fuel usage, and maintenance checks.
• Report any mechanical issues, traffic violations, or route delays promptly to the transport coordinator.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Truck License No. 4.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience, particularly in port clearance and refrigerated transport.
• Familiar with port clearance procedures and customs documentation at Jebel Ali and Sharjah ports.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred:

• Experience in transporting fresh produce or temperature-sensitive goods.
• Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
